Such a great day!

This was such a great day!  Normally when people say that it is because fantastic things have happened to them…you know like big events!  Well no big event here, really just a normal day.  One thing is different is my attitude, I woke up in a great mood got things accomplished watched my kids play, helped my daughter with her cheer jumps.  Yup just an average day that turned into an awesome day all due to a positive mind!  The picture above is from my second favorite Disney movie, Tangled.  I love the picture because this reminds me of how I feel!  I feel so excited and I can see my families future bright and clear!  The journey of getting there is becoming fun and it makes me feel excited!  Before this company I was living paycheck to paycheck.  My husband and I now are saving and seeing not only a light at the end of a tunnel…we are seeing a flood light that is within reach!  I would love to share my success with people who are wanting that light to be brighter!  Contact me today and we will talk!

Dreams do come true!

My last post I spent a lot of time explaining the process of true success!  In short you have to know your goal, write it down, give yourself a time frame to achieve this, create a dream board or visuals, read your goals to get encouraged, and have a partner to hold you accountable!  I am excited to say I have been doing these things and I am seeing small results already!  Today I made my dream board.  I have it as my screen saver and I tell you what looking at it right now as I type it has me pumped!  I can not wait to see each one of these things come true for my family and I!!!

At the top is my family.  The picture of my daughter and I on the left shows us heading to her One Direction concert!  I would love to be able to go to more concerts with her and have this one on one time with her!  The top middle is when my husband and I went on a week long Cruise to the Virgin Islands!  Top right is my husband having some quality time with our two boys!  We would both love just more quality time with our family and working for Nerium International will allow us that financial freedom to do more of that!  I have a picture of St. Martin because I would love to take my kids here!  Jon and I fell in love with this Island on our cruise!  The middle is one I truly cannot wait for...building a new home for our precious family!  Of course I want to get my Nerium Lexus!  The picture of my parents reminds me everyday how possible this all is!  They love their Lexus and we cannot wait to have ours!  I see in my future all of this coming true snorkeling, $25K Nerium Bonus!  It is possible and I have set my mind in the right direction the only place I am headed is toward these goals!!!

Now that my mind is set I am making sure to talk and spread the word to at least 2 people a day!  I am going to bed at night with a happy mind and never again will I focus on negative things that will bring me down!  It's all up from here!

2014...now what?

If you have been reading my posts and wondering if Nerium is for you...let me just ask you a couple questions...

1. Have you ever thought there is more for you than the 9-5 job you currently have?

2. Do you have dreams?

3. Do you have things you would like to change about your skin? Wrinkles, pores, discoloration?

Owning your own business can seem a bit overwhelming.  I will show you the steps you can take to achieve success!

First you need to define what your goal is, what do you want to achieve from your life?  This can be many things...family, vacations, new home, new car, more money, or giving back to a charity.  A goal will keep you driven.

Second you have to write it down!  Keep a journal, record it and elaborate on your goal!  Look at it  everyday to keep you excited about where you are headed!

Give yourself a time-frame...a realistic one though!  If your goal is to take a family vacation, tell yourself this time next year we will be at the beach!  Write that down start planning it and work for it!  Hold yourself accountable, anything you want you can get if you put the effort and faith into it!

Use visual aids so you can see it daily and remind you daily that it is achievable!!!  This picture above is an example of someones dream board.  They have family vacation, love, wealth, excitement, travel...these are all things this person wants to happen and they created this dream board as a way of reminding themselves it is in their near future!  If you dream of having a new car...go test drive it!  New house?  Got to a few open houses!  Do things each day that will excite you for the future!

Keep  yourself from getting jaded...write yourself some encouraging words, read them daily!  Remind yourself that you are headed in the right direction.  Friends and even family might not be on board they might tear you down.  If you have these great reminders that you gave yourself it will keep you pumped!  You are your greatest form of support!  

Have a goal partner to help you be accountable!  This can be a friend who wants to join the business with you or a spouse!  Check in with your partner daily and see who they have talked to!  I try to talk to a couple people a day!  Doing this everyday creates results overtime!

My husband and I are so excited about this year!  It is going to be great!

No make-up....not so scary!

First of all I want to say this...I love make-up!  It is another form of art to me!  When we are young we can't wait to get to wear make-up!  I remember an old childhood picture of me walking in the kitchen holding my Daddy's hand and just balling...I had red lipstick all over my face.  I was sad I got caught evidently, but my parents were just laughing!  My friend and I got caboodle's when we were around 10 I think with blue eye-shadow and our own lipstick and blush!  We felt so cool and so pretty on our way to go see Hocus Pocus at the movies!  Something tends to happen as we get older make-up begins to be a dreaded chore and a cover up of what you tend to hate about yourself.  That is sad to me.  I hear all the time "Make-up is for pretty people"..."No amount of make-up can fix my looks"!  Seriously?!?!  Look at this picture of a childhood favorite...Barbie.  Without make-up she is a little plain, but still adorable.  Make-up doesn't change who you are or even make you prettier...it does sometimes give more confidence!  Later in this blog I will show another way to be confident without make-up.  Make-up will become fun again!

I think the public loves to see pictures of Stars without make-up...I have looked through a lot of pictures and found a few examples I will use today!  This was a little hard because it seems like paparazzi wants to take horrible pictures on purpose (bad hair, obviously not feeling well...).  Anyway, above is Ashley Greene I love this picture because she looks great in both!  She is confident and does not hide behind her make-up!  You can tell make-up is fun for her!  It can be that way for you too!

Here is a great one of Debra Messing...again she is confident in both, but guess what she is just like you and me!  A lot of times we place stars on a higher pedestal.  They are people just like you and me.  Fancy Cameras and airbrushing can change someones appearance drastically!

Amanda Seyfried also looks so confident without the glam.  She looks just like us you know why because she is just like us!  Make-up is not a chore to these ladies so why should it be for you?

This New Year don't make the same resolution...instead change your mind!

I have been around both types of people and sadly I have let negativity invade my personal bubble to many times!  This year I am working on really changing my mind set,  if I am more positive my life is 100% better!  I am a better wife, mommy, and friend!  I know my family deserves the best side of me and that side is the positive, bubbly Mandy.

It is more then just saying I will be more positive though...it takes a lot of faith and if I ever feel like something is to much you will find me on my knees.  I know God can help clear my mind and see the bigger picture.  I will have set backs but those set backs are just arrows getting ready to be launched towards the right path for me!  Believe in yourself, you are worth it and you can do anything!

My family and I are headed towards an exciting new chapter in our lives, full of helping others, traveling, and teaching our children how to be truly successful.  When I say successful I don't mean only money.  We want them to be proud of themselves and this doesn't come from money, sports, or even friends.  True happiness is 100% driven by your mind.  There is so much negativity in the world right now.  A lot of people strive on it because it makes them feel better about themselves to see someone having a hard time.  That is sad, I want my children to be happy with themselves and then go out in this negative world and share their faith and happiness to help others in need.  

Do me a favor when you go to sleep tonight clear your mind of all the things you wish you had, things that need to still be done, the bills that keep coming, or any other thought that is negative.  Go to sleep with a clear mind thinking about things yo are thankful for, people you can help, imagine yourself at your dream vacation.  Wake up striving for positive outcomes.
